Awesome Chrome extension for Graphic Designers. Grab onto colours in seconds.

Updated: Oct 7, 2019

Hello content creator, graphic designer or simply amateur user of Photoshop.

Whatever your level of graphic design is, this Google Chrome extension will come in handy.

How many times you browse the web and you see colours that you like and would like to use in your future design projects? Or how many times you needed to know the HEX code of a colour ASAP yet you have to screenshot the colour, open it in an editing program, and finally use the "Pick Colour" tool to identify the colour?

Just imagine how much time you save by using an online extension that identifies your colour code with a single click!

I will make this short.

Just as this extension. Simple, but helpful.

With this extension you can find and save any colour on the web in seconds. It will serve you as a library of colours that you looked up along with their codes.

It’s called Eyedropper. Find it here. Click add to Chrome and Voilá. You have a colour picker tool right in your web browser. The Eyedropper icon will appear in the upper side of your browser, in a little icon that you can click on every time you want to use it.

I am sure that there are various extensions but I personally this one. Why? It's simply the first one I stumbled into and it does the job perfectly.

How does it work?

Simply click on the extension icon in the upper left part of your browser, click on "Pick colour from web page" and click on the colour that you want. You instantly get the colour codes and you can be sure that it stays saved so you can be free to collect colours that you want to use in the future.

What other extensions that can make a designer's life easier do you know? I would love to hear about them in the comments.
